Three days of music, passion and speed will be experienced at the Grand Prix of Miami F1, from May 3 to 5 at the Hard Rock Stadium international racetrack.

The F1 event will consist of five outings on the track. Usually there are three practices, qualifying and the big race. As Miami has been chosen as one of the six season venues for the F1 Sprint, the last two practices have been replaced.

In this way, the activities will begin on Friday morning with the only practice of the event. In the afternoon there will be qualifying for the Sprint.

On Saturday the Sprint will be held and then the qualification for the big race, which will be held on Sunday, May 5.

Kaytranada, an excellent dancer, rapper, DJ, producer and electronic music specialist, will go into action after the presentation of trophies to the winners of the Miami Grand Prix, in the last event of the weekend at the Hard Rock Stadium.

“There is nothing more exciting than F1 and the Miami GP has turned sport and partying into an incredible experience,” said Kaytranada. “The energy of the city is incomparable and I can't wait to be part of this atmosphere and elevate the celebrations to their highest level.”

Community involved

In just two editions, the Miami GP has left a deep mark on the region. In the first edition in 2022, more than 240,000 fans attended and the total impact was 798 million dollars.

The following year around 300,000 people attended and the economic income for the region approached one billion dollars.

On the other hand, one of the biggest objectives of the event is to involve the Miami Gardens community, and to do so, the organizers donated 1,500 tickets to residents and created the STEM program for schools with the purpose of getting young people interested in studying. of science, technology and innovation. For this purpose, scholarships were awarded to local students.

In addition, opportunities are always given to local entrepreneurs and, for example, restaurant owners in the area are allowed to display their dishes on the racetrack campus.

In this edition, fans attending Hard Rock Stadium will have access to more than 60 carefully selected food options and will enjoy Miami style while vibrating with all the activities of the F1 weekend.

F1 Miami GP President Tyler Epp highlighted the diversity the event offers.

Five things not to be missed at the Miami GP

1.- For the first time at the Hard Rock Stadium Autodrome, the F1 Sprint will be held, one of the six races of the 2024 F1 world championship.

F1 Sprint is a short race that covers 100 kilometres, a third of traditional F1 races, and lasts around 30 minutes. The first eight score points. Qualifying for the Sprint is on Friday afternoon and the Sprint is on Saturday before qualifying for the Grand Prix.
