8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Charité: Arrival, historical drama series

Charité, midsummer in 2049: Top researcher Maral Safadi (Sesede Terziyan) returns to the Charité with her wife, the gynecologist Julia Kowalczyk (Angelina Häntsch). There she takes over the management of the Institute of Microbiology. Maral is also part of the scientific advisory team of Health Minister Thomas Nguyen (Hyun Wanner), whose new health reform endangers the principle of solidarity and threatens to divide not only the Charité staff. Maral's first patient, Piet Baldwin (Terence Schweizer), has become infected with an unknown bacterial pathogen that causes life-threatening symptoms. When another infected patient is admitted to the Charité and dies shortly afterwards, Maral comes under increasing pressure.
