President Donald Trump on Thursday urged Iran to reach a “meaningful agreement” with the United States, as a massive US military deployment in the Middle East takes shape.
“Over the years it has been shown that it is not easy to reach a meaningful agreement with Iran. We have to make a meaningful agreement, otherwise there will be serious consequences,” Trump said at the inaugural meeting of the “Peace Board”, his initiative to guarantee stability in Gaza.
He warned that Washington “may have to go a step further” if no deal is reached, adding: “You’ll know probably in the next 10 days.”
“If the ayatollahs make a mistake and attack us, they will receive a response that they cannot even imagine,” said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Trump announced Thursday that the United States will contribute $10 billion to his newly inaugurated “Peace Board,” initially earmarked for Gaza but with larger ambitions.

“I want to inform you that the United States is going to make a contribution of 10,000 million dollars to the Peace Board“he said at his inaugural meeting, which brought together about two dozen world leaders and senior officials, including several of Trump’s allies.
CNN and CBS reported Wednesday that the US military is prepared to launch attacks against Iran this weekend, although the president has not yet made a decision.
Citing unnamed US officials, The Wall Street Journal claims that Trump has been briefed on his military options, “all designed to maximize damage,” including a campaign to “kill dozens of Iranian political and military leaders, with the goal of overthrowing the government.”
The threats do not seem to intimidate the repressive regime of the Ayatollahs, which wants to continue with its nuclear program after murdering more than 7,000 people in the streets, arresting more than 50,000, and preparing the beheading of 800 people, which did not happen thanks to President Donald J. Trump.
