Piqué is suspended for six games for “mild violence” against a referee

The referee explained that Piqué told him to “leave under escort so that no one attacks him” after complaining about the refereeing decisions made during the match.

“In another country they would beat you, but here in Andorra we are a civilized country,” Piqué added, according to the report.

The referee noted that, after getting into the vehicle to leave, Nogués told the referees: “I hope you have an accident.”

Piqué stated on social media last week that the club had previously sent a letter to the federation requesting that the referee, Alonso by Ena Wolfwill not referee any of the team’s games.
