New rounds of negotiations in the customs dispute between the USA and China






In the customs dispute between the United States and China, representatives of both countries will meet for a second round of negotiations in London on Monday. The US delegation includes the Minister of Finance and Trade, Scott Bessent and Howard Lutnick, as well as the trade officer of US President Donald Trump, Jamieson Greer.

Trump had imposed a total of 145 percent against China at the beginning of April, Beijing reacted with high counter -tariffs. In mid -May, the two countries agreed on talks in Geneva to significantly reduce the surcharges for 90 days in order to enable negotiations.
