“With the first tire I wanted to do a return to position myself in the first line, but with the second I wanted to exaggerate too much and I have made some mistakes,” Marc Márquez told Dazn at the end of the race.
“Objective fulfilled, now it touches the most important thing, but I hope that Alex, especially in the Escrint race, is close, because he has been very fast with the soft,” the Catalan pilot continued.
The six -time Moto GP champion, which has won up to six times in the Aragonese layout, will depart as a favorite for the ESPRENT race this Saturday and for Sunday’s race.
His teammate, Italian Francesco Bagnaia got fourth position, while the two KTM pilots, the Spanish Pedro Acosta and the South African Brad Binder, were fifth and sixth, respectively.
