MADRID.- The Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho will be the one chosen to be the coach of the real Madrid If the current president Florentino Perez revalidates his position in Sunday’s elections.

Those responsible for Pérez’s candidacy launched the announcement practically at the same time that his electoral rival, Enrique Riquelmewas planning to announce a big signing on a television show.
In fact, the video presented by Pérez’s candidacy begins with the legend “while on TV they talk, and talk, and talk”, before Mourinho comes out saying “yes”, dressed in white.
The return of the Portuguese coach to the white team had been assumed by the Spanish press in recent weeks if Pérez managed to retain the white presidency.
In the event of Pérez’s victory in the elections, Mourinho would return to take charge of the team thirteen years after his departure in 2013.
The acting president of Real Madrid had not confirmed until now that Mourinho was his chosen one, although he had praised him every time he was asked about it.
“He has been with us, he increased our competitiveness. And, from there, we won six Champions in 10 years,” Pérez said in an interview with La Sexta television on May 13, the day after calling the elections.
Mourinho arrived at Real Madrid in 2010, where he spent three seasons in which he dealt, mainly, with the Barcelona of Pep Guardiola and Lionel Messi.
In his three years in the merengue team, Mourinho won a Spanish leaguea King’s Cup and one Spanish Super Cup.
The Portuguese would arrive at Real Madrid after directing this season at Benfica.
After revealing the name of the coach, Pérez announced on a television program that he will announce the signing of a player on Thursday.
Israel detains Palestinian soccer player
