Without mentioning Machado’s name, the dictator stated that the opposition leader would be preparing her departure from Venezuela with “Gucci brand suitcases” that, according to him, would have arrived from New York.
“The supposed queen bee was left without a bee… she knows what I’m saying,” he said sarcastically, referring to Machado’s supposed “escape plan.”

Far from being intimidated, Machado denied the dictator’s accusations and stated that the only one who is considering his departure is Maduro.
“Here the one who is leaving is Nicolás Maduro, I am still with the Venezuelans,” he pointed out.
In his statement, Machado pointed out that the regime’s objective in spreading this rumor is to place her “on the defensive.”
The Chavista regime, which forced the elected president of Venezuela into exile due to the arrest order issued by a court in September, at the request of the Chavista prosecutor, Tarek William Saab, is trying to bring the opposition leader to this stage.
One of the latest tricks of the Chavista dictatorship to further encircle Machado, who is in hiding due to threats against his freedom and physical integrity, has been the arrest of two members of his security team this week.
“Electoral fraud”
While the Venezuelan regime shows signs of clinging to power, under false rumors and lies, the head of the Carter Center Observation Mission, Jennie Lincoln, explained this week before the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS), the electoral records that gave the victory of Edmundo González in the presidential elections on July 28.
“These minutes were analyzed by the opposition and by independent international missions and show that they are the original minutes of July 28 and that Edmundo González is the winner with more than 60% of the votes,” Lincoln said before the permanent members.

Social networks were quick to react to the Venezuelan leader’s forceful response, and ridiculed the ruler with messages: “Maduro is very rude! He doesn’t even know what he’s saying. GUCCI is not just a brand, it’s a code to send records: González, Urrutia, Centro, Cárter, Internacional. Suck that tangerine!”.
