MIAMI.- Marcel Reinosa, manager of the reggaeton band El Tiger, gave a brief interview to Cuban Enrique Santos where he stated that José Manuel Carvajal Zaldívar’s health status is critical.
The doctors reported that the urban artist did not suffer damage to the area related to memory and recognition because the projectile hit the front of the head and exited through the right side. Reinosa pointed out that despite this, his condition is delicate.
The manager asserted that it was a miracle that the interpreter was found alive, and stated that he remains under observation and the family had not been allowed to see him.
“The Tiger is fighting for his life. It’s a waiting game,” he said.
Reinosa asserted that the Miami Police Department continues the investigation, which suggests that the incident could be a premeditated crime; Therefore, the information that arises will be revealed at the time and by the authorities.
Finally, he requested understanding and respect from the musician’s family and team.
It is expected that in the next few hours, the police will hold a press conference to discuss this fact.
Investigation details
Mike Vega, spokesperson for the Miami police, shared crucial information about the case in an interview with América Tevé.
“We think this may not have happened in the city of Miami, or we know for sure that it didn’t happen there. This happened somewhere else and someone drove him there, dropped him off and left on foot.”
These statements suggest that El Taiger could have been the victim of a planned attack.
An element that has caught the attention of investigators is the discovery of two gasoline tanks in the vehicle where the artist was found.
This discovery worries the authorities and could be key to clarifying the facts.
The incident
The incident was reported around 6:45 a.m. Thursday, when a vehicle was blocking traffic at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and Northwest 17th Street.
“We received a call alerting about a black van parked at that location, and that apparently there was a person inside who was not responding to those passing by the area,” Vega explained.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a shocking scene: “Inside the black Mercedes-Benz there was a body in the back that appeared to have been shot in the head.”
The Taiger was immediately taken to the hospital, where he is fighting for his life. “He was immediately taken to the hospital, where they are currently trying to recover him. But we think that he may not be able to recover from his injuries,” the police spokesman added.
According to a video shared by content creator Cuba Urbano Noticias, El Taiger left intensive care, but his health remains delicate due to the severity of the wound he suffered.
