LONDON.- The French Real Madrid striker, Kylian Mbappéyou already have your wax figure in the famous Madame Tussauds from London, which can be contemplated by the public from today, April 4.
The figure represents him smiling, with his arms crossed, wearing the second equipment of the French team, with a white shirt, with number 10, and the captain’s bracelet.
“The player himself provided the outfit, which kept the Eurocup-2024,” said the museum.
Mbappé’s good approval
The statue was taken last week to Madrid so that Mbappé contemplated it and gave his approval before his entry this Friday at the famous Wax Museum.
“Let me introduce you to my twin,” Mbappé said, smiling, next to his wax clone, on March 27 on Instagram.
The director of the study of the London Museum, Jo Kinsey, in charge of supervising and directing the process of creating the wax figures of Madame Tussauds, showed her satisfaction with the reaction of the former PSG player.
“It was fantastic. He said he felt honest, but it is we who are really honored. Yes, he liked the statue,” Jo Kinsey told AFP.
Kinsey was also satisfied with the public’s reaction on social networks before the footballer’s wax figure
“There was a huge number of comments asking which of the two was the real Mbappé,” Kinsey said.
“Before performing the statue, a team of artists met with the player for several hours, to take hundreds of measures (head, height, eyes, ears) and photos to capture exactly their characteristics,” said Jo Kinsey.
The director of the study of the London Museum added that -Illuso- a dental scan was carried out to the footballer.
“During this encounter, we talked about the pose, the style,” said the responsible, adding that Mbappé, World Superstar, icon, exceptional footballer deserves his space in the museum.
Kylian Mbappé already had his wax statue at the Madame Tussauds in Berlin and in the Paris Grevin.
