MADRID.- Football and cinema linked forces again for a solidarity cause. The EA Sports League and the Platinum Awards The fifth edition of the Meeting of the Stars, a charity match that this year will allocate their collection to the rehabilitation of sports facilities affected by the Dana.
This traditional event brings together the legends of the league and artists from the Ibero -American audiovisual world to promote values such as solidarity, education and social cohesion. In this edition, the funds collected will contribute to the recovery of soccer fields in the Valencian Community, severely damaged by the floods caused by the DANA.
Thanks to the program FC Futures, driven by LaLiga EA Sports in collaboration with the foundation of the Valencia CFrehabilitation works have already begun in facilities such as the Jaume Ortí Soccer Field (Aldaia), the World Stadium 82 (Catarroja), the Municipal Sports Center of Sedaví and the field of El Raval (Algemesí), benefiting more than 3,000 young federated soccer players.

Among the participants were artists such as Álvaro Díaz, Benjamín Vicuña, India Martínez, Michelle Renaud and Rodrigo Guirao, as well as football legends such as Iker Casillas, Juan Pablo Sorín, Aintzane Encinas or Mario Suárez.
The game included a protagonist’s t -shirts auction through the MatchworNehirt platform, and was attended by children from affected sports schools. An appointment where sport and art shake hands to continue scoring goals, inside and outside the field.
