Meanwhile, Keels, who was also originally signed by Miami on September 11, appeared in two preseason games with the Heat and averaged 6.0 points, 2.0 assists, 1.5 rebounds, 1.00 steals and 22.6 minutes of action.

Mitchell is ready to return

After missing the Heat’s first three preseason games with a calf injury, Davion Mitchell He is scheduled to return to action Sunday in Orlando against the Magic.

This will be Mitchell’s first appearance since signing a two-year, $24 million deal this offseason to remain with Miami.

His recovery is more than welcome for a team that still does not have Tyler Herro (ankle surgery), so Mitchel has a great opportunity to accumulate a good amount of minutes on the court or even claim a spot on the starting team until the star returns.
