LONDON.- The British Association regulator exempts Wednesday at Prince Harry of any responsibility, after the president of an Oenegé founded by him in Africa will accuse him of harassment, But he pointed out that “all parties” made mistakes in the management of the organization.

At the end of March, the youngest son of King Carlos III resigned from his role as godfather of the Balefico Seenbale Association, founded on Lesoto to fight AIDS in Africa, following a conflict with the president of the Board of Directors.

The latter, the Zimbabuense lawyer Sophie Chandauka, had been accused of bad governance by the members of the Board of Directors.

The case resulted in an adjustment of public accounts when Sophie Chandauka accused the duke of Sussex of “harassment” and “intimidation”, in an interview with the Sky News chain.

The Prince then denounced a string of “lies” and both he and Chandauka resorted to the British regulator, the Charity Commission, to solve the difference.

Investigation

In his conclusions published on Wednesday, the regulator blamed “all parts of having left (the conflict) will develop publicly.”

Even so, he said that he found no “proof” of “harassment or generalized or systemic intimidation” or “misogyny or misogyny towards black women” inside the Oenegé.

Instead, he pointed out that the “inability of the administrators of that time to resolve the litigation internally had serious repercussions on the reputation” of Sentebale and also denounced “weaknesses in the governance” of the association.

The commission asked that the Oenegé clarify “in writing” the role that his godparents, Prince Harry and Prince’s Prince of Lesoto, who also resigned.

In a statement from the association, Chandauka expressed satisfaction with the conclusions and said that they “confirm the concerns in governance” that she had denounced “in private in February 2025”.

He did not comment on the fact that Prince Harry had been released from the accusations of harassment she had poured against him.

The Duke of Sussex co -founded the association to continue with the work of his late mother, Princess Diana, very committed to the fight against AIDS.
