US President Donald Trump has announced that Ukraine provide patriot defense systems. “We will send you Patriots who urgently need you,” said Trump, who had stopped important arms deliveries to Ukraine just two weeks ago, on Sunday. At first he did not provide any information on how many patriot systems the Ukraine should receive.
Ukraine asked Trump for patriot system
Ukraine has asked the United States to sell its other patriot rockets and systems that it considers to be decisive for the defense of its cities against the increasing Russian air raids.
A few days ago, Trump told NBC that the United States would provide Ukraine weapons in the future. “We send weapons to NATO and NATO will reimburse the full costs of these weapons.” Whether this also applies to the missiles now announced remained open at first.
