Donald Trump’s vice presidential candidate JD Vance has not made any friends with his comment about childless women. Chelsea Handler has now responded in a particularly creative way – and fans are cheering.
JD Vance could still become a problem for Donald Trump. The Republican vice presidential candidate is making few friends these days. He called the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and other Democrats a “bunch of childless cat women who feel miserable about their own lives and the decisions they have made.” And that’s not all: “That’s why they want to make the rest of the country feel miserable too,” said Vance. Numerous “childless cat women” have already positioned themselves against Vance online. Now this club has gained a famous representative: comedienne Chelsea Handler.

Like Jennifer Aniston a few days ago, Handler also commented on Vance’s words on Instagram. She posted an angry video response on her profile that dripped with as much anger as humor. “This country is still controlled by men, in systems created by men and carefully designed to continue to benefit men,” she began her post. “To put it in misogynistic terms that you will understand: you are hysterical,” Handler said to Vance.
Then Handler brings up arguments that even Vance could hardly refute. “Our very first president of the United States, George Washington, for example, had no children. In fact, he had two stepchildren,” she said, mentioning that Harris also has two stepchildren. “And as for your claim that Kamala is not suitable because she is not a ‘mother,’ I would like to remind you that no president in the history of the United States has ever been a mother,” Handler said. Of course, she is referring to the fact that the office of president has so far been held exclusively by men.
She then launches into a broadside against Donald Trump without having to mention his name. “But maybe Republican men would be more comfortable if she had five children with three different men, a scandalous affair with a porn star, and was a convicted criminal,” Handler said.
At the end, she announced that all the childless cat and dog women would turn against Vance in November (when the US election takes place). Handler herself has no children – just like Jennifer Aniston. In the comments under her post, she is celebrated for her words.
Jennifer Aniston also received a lot of support after she commented on Vance’s discriminatory words. “Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is lucky enough to have children of her own one day. I hope she won’t have to resort to IVF (artificial insemination, editor’s note) as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her too,” the “Friends” actress wrote on Instagram. Aniston herself had tried for a long time to become a mother through artificial insemination. Without success.
