MIAMI.- Now that the stifling heat of summer is coming to an end, Florida will receive a respite with the drop in temperatures by the end of November.
Colder than usual autumn
Temperatures in the last days of November will remain at an average of 68°F, slightly below usual for this time of year.
Although the state does not experience a traditional winter, this decrease in heat will be a welcome relief for many. An article from Florida Today reveals that according to weather forecasts, the winter will be moderately cold, with rainfall close to normal, which will allow for cooler weather.
This November’s weather, which could be cooler than usual, will come with some additional rain, although without reaching extreme levels.
Warmer than normal winter in Florida
Although the winter solstice will be on Saturday, December 21, the meteorological start of winter will be on Sunday, December 1.
The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts a warmer-than-usual winter from December to February 2025 for Florida and much of the Southeast.
