MIAMI.- This May 31, the stunning Ionian coastal city of Parga, Greece, will become the scene of a concert one-night crossover that will fuse classical and pop music in a cinematic beachfront setting.
Organized by the Municipal Port Authority of Parga, this free, family-friendly event will mark the opening of the 2026 summer season and will coincide with the celebration of 70 years of organized tourism in the region.

Headlining the evening will be the renowned conductor Maestro Eduardo Marturet, Musical Director and CEO of the Miami Symphony Orchestrathe Official Symphony Orchestra of the City of Miami. The Maestro’s inspiring curatorship and charismatic leadership will guide the Ioannina Symphony Orchestra and the Parga Choir through a program full of emotions, crescendos and musical surprises.
Sharing the stage will be Italian vocalist Arianna, celebrated for her luminous performances; the Greek-American singer and actress Athina Kloumi, recognized for her artistic career in the United States; and acclaimed Greek singer Nikos Papadiotis.
The program will be a tour of works classics, international hits and Greek favorites—from Shostakovich waltzes to summer classics like Mamma Mia and I will fly— with repertoire performed in English, Greek, Italian and Spanish. It will also offer international visitors the opportunity to discover Greece’s most celebrated composers, including Manos Hatzidakis.
One of the night’s main sponsors, Rosaprima, will adorn the event with roses, creating a spectacular display of varieties that will add fragrance and visual beauty to the promenade.
Celebration
Held in one of Greece’s most important tourist destinations, the concert will mark the official opening of the 2026 summer season and will coincide with 70 years of organized tourism in the region. The evening will be dedicated to prominent local cultural figure Petros Giourgas.
The event is held under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Culture and is supported by regional and local authorities, as well as the Parga Hoteliers Association.
The concert will begin at 9:00 p.m. in Plaza Eleftherias, on the Parga seafront.
