The flag of Venezuela continues to wave in the world thanks to Venezuelan talent. Luisiana Ramírez has been one who has taken the tricolor to the top, but from the “Beach Tennis” courts or Tennis de Playa with the 12 international titles he has achieved so far in his promising career.
The young Venezuelan tennis playeroriginally from the city of Valencia, at only 27 years old, she has captivated fans and experts alike, but she has also left an indelible mark in the world of “Beach Tennis”, since from 2017 until 2025, she has accumulated a total of 12 titles recognized by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), consolidating her position as one of the emerging figures of this sport both in Venezuela as at an international level.
With over 45 ITF tournaments under his belt and over 50 national and international events, Louisiana has shown unwavering dedication and passion. Each participation has been an opportunity not only to compete, but to raise the name of his homeland, Venezuela, high. Her persistence and effort have led her to achieve her best ranking in 2023: number 3 in Venezuela and 69 in the world, a testament to her hard work and determination.
The first title won was in April 2017 in Aruba; A month later he repeated the feat on the Caribbean island; Since then he began to register his name in ITF tournaments. In 2018 he won a championship again in Aruba; In 2022 he won one in the BT10 category and another in the BT50; Then in 2023 it added four titles also in BT10 and BT50 (two in each); and so far in 2025, the Venezuelan tennis player has achieved three more titles, for a total of 12 certificates in the International Tennis Federation.
Currently, Luisiana Ramírez is ranked fifth in the ITF rankings for Venezuela and dreams of competing in Brazil, where some of the biggest tournaments are held, such as the BT400, the highest level of competition.

“Beach Tennis has another vibe, there is music, there is joy. It is a passion, it is my life, it is literally everything,” says Luisiana, who also highlights that this sport has not only allowed her to develop as an athlete, but has also given her the opportunity to connect with people from different parts of the world.
“Sport unites us. It allowed me to be part of my community, I meet people from many parts of the world and thanks to it I met my husband,” she adds enthusiastically.
Resilience has been an important lesson in the career of the young Venezuelan tennis player, because after an injury that kept her off the court for two years, she has learned to listen to her body and has returned to competitions with a renewed perspective.
“I feel like I’m playing better, I’m a different player. The injury taught me to have patience, resilience, it taught me to learn to listen to my body,” she says in a reflective tone.
Passionate trainer
In addition to competing, Luisiana Ramirez has also dedicated herself to teaching “Beach Tennis,” the sport she claims is her “life and passion.” With more than 10 years of experience as a coach, she began teaching classes to children and now focuses on attracting new generations to the sport.
“I love teaching classes, I enjoy teaching the sport I love,” she says while sharing her enthusiasm for working with beginners, although at this moment she is focused on teaching new players, in the hope that more people will join this growing community. Its mission is clear: to make “Beach Tennis” a sport accessible and loved by all.
