SAO PAULO.- He Venezuelan international Yeferson Soteldo will play the 2024 season with the Porto Alegre Guild of Brazil, where it arrives on loan from him Saints of Sao Paulowhich was relegated to the second division of Brazilian football for the first time in its legendary history, the gaúcho club reported this Friday.
“Guild announces that it has reached an agreement with the Saints and Soteldo to have the attacker on loan for a season. The player will be the first Venezuelan to defend the colors of the Tricolor,” said the club. Porto Alegre (south), in a statement.
Soteldo, 26, won the affection of the ‘Peixe’ fans for his talent and his outstanding performance in the runners-up of the Copa Libertadores 2020where he lost the final with Palmeiras.
He arrived in the port city of the state of Sao Paulo in 2019, from Chilean soccer (Huachipato and University of Chile), although since then he had steps through toronto of the MLS in 2021 and the Tigers of Mexico in 2022.
