On Wednesday of this week, the Republican stood in the magnificent Rotunda of the Capitol and appeared combative. “I could make a selfish decision,” the House speaker said. “But I'm doing what I think is the right thing here. It's critically important that Ukraine receives weapons now,” said Johnson. “I'm willing to take a personal risk for this. We have to do the right thing, history will judge us.”
