Prof. Kroenig, there is a lot of speculation about how Donald Trump could try to end the war in Ukraine. What’s the plan?
Trump has promised he will end the war within 24 hours, so he must deliver quickly. He wants to persuade Zelensky to negotiate by saying he would stop aid if Ukraine doesn’t negotiate. And he tells Putin that he will give Ukraine even more if Russia refuses. I think it is likely that negotiations will take place.
