The mother of the former First Lady of the USA, Melania Trump, is dead. She announced the death of her beloved mother Amalija Knavs “with deep sadness,” wrote the 53-year-old wife of former President Donald Trump (2017-2021) in the Night on Platform X, formerly Twitter.
“Amalija Knavs was a strong woman who always moved with grace, warmth and dignity,” the post continued. “She was devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson and son-in-law. We will miss her beyond measure and continue to honor and love her legacy.” The mother’s age or cause of death were not mentioned in the post.
After moving out of the White House in January 2021, Melania Trump rarely appears in public. The ex-model comes from Slovenia and has lived in the USA since the 1990s. After marrying Donald Trump in 2005, she acquired US citizenship. After losing to Joe Biden in 2020, Trump himself wants to run for the Republicans again in the presidential election in November.
