Two weeks ago, Democrat Bob Tatterson was the biggest optimist in Ozaukee County. Completely enthusiastic, the engineer returned from the Democratic Party Convention in Chicago to his constituency in Wisconsin, the state that the Democrats absolutely must win in November.

“The great atmosphere, the signal for departure, the jolt in the party, the new hope through Kamala,” he lists, almost running out of breath. “The donations flowed endlessly, the number of volunteers exploded, the reporting was positive, the enthusiasm was ten.”
