Former US President Donald Trump does not want to run again in the presidential election in 2028 if he is defeated in the November election. In this case, it would be unimaginable for him to run again, said the 78-year-old Republican presidential candidate in an interview with the television production “Full Measure” published on Sunday. But of course he hopes for “success” at the polls on November 5th.
The polls currently point to an extremely close race between Trump and the Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris. The decision will most likely be made on November 5th in the so-called swing states – US states where the race is traditionally close.
Apparently in order to influence the mood there in her favor, Harris invited her competitor to another television duel at the weekend. This was rejected by Trump. Officially, the Republican argued that it was “simply too late” for another debate.
According to polls and the majority of political commentators, Harris won the first TV debate against Trump on September 10th. She put the Republican on the defensive with numerous targeted attacks.
