US President Donald Trump has announced an early conversation with Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin. “I will, yes,” said Trump on Thursday (local time) when asked by a reporter whether Trump will speak to the Russian president in the near future.
Previously on Thursday, Trump had called the Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj and several European heads of state and government. In Paris and by video count, more than 30 heads of state and government advised the “coalition of the willing”. According to France, 26 countries were ready to take part in a possible commitment in Ukraine in the event of an armistice with Russia. Germany did not promise troops. It was also unclear in which form the US will participate.
