Trump and Putin make calls again






US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin want to make calls during the day. Trump announced the phone call on Thursday in his online service Truth Social. It was therefore planned around 4 p.m. CEST. Russian state media confirmed the conversation with Putin.

“I will speak to the American president today,” said the Kremlin boss, according to the state news agencies Ria Novosti and Tass when visiting an exhibition. Most recently, Putin and Trump had phoned on June 14th.

The conversation should be about the Russian attack war in Ukraine. The United States had recently announced the stop deliveries to Ukraine that had already been promised. Rakets for patriot flight defense systems, precision artillery and grenades are affected. The Kremlin had expressed this satisfied. In Kiev, the announcement from the USA triggered great concern in view of the increased Russian air strikes and the advancement of the Russian army in the east of Ukraine.
