To the conquest of Türkiye: Mohamed Salah gets a new home

ISTANBUL.- Received as a hero, the Egyptian star Mohamed Salahfree since his departure from Liverpoolcame to Türkiye this Wednesday to sign for the Trabzonsporwhich convinced him with an XXL contract of almost 20 million dollars per season.

“Salah mode activated,” Trabzonspor had previously written on X, sharing photos of the player aboard a private plane wearing the blue and maroon shirt of the Black Sea team.

The club of Trabzon (northeast), qualified for the playoff round of the Europa Leagueannounced on Tuesday that he had started “negotiations” with the Egyptian superstar, who left Liverpool after nine seasons full of titles and goals.

Medical examination in Istanbul

Salah underwent a medical examination this Wednesday in Istanbul before flying to Trabzon in the afternoon, where he was greeted by a larger crowd, careful not to use flares so as not to disrupt air traffic.
