The political thriller “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War” arrives on Prime Video

MIAMI.- On May 25 Prime Video premieres Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War, a feature film sequel to the series Jack Ryan of 2018.

After 3 years of silence since their last season, Jack (John Krasinski), James Greer (Wendell Pierce) and Mike November (Michael Kelly) return to the ring to face a ruthless antagonist who confronts our protagonists with their past and the justice system they blindly defend. With action sequences of all kinds (chases, shootouts, hand-to-hand fights) and the classic suspense of political thriller full of twists, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War It introduces us to new characters (such as Emma Marlow, played by Sienna Miller) and irreversible decisions that mark a milestone in the future of the Jack Ryan saga.

DIARIO LAS AMÉRICAS spoke with director Andrew Bernstein (It: Welcome to Derry, The Diplomat, Jack Ryan) and actor Michael Kelly (Jack Ryan, The Penguin, Now You See Me) for the premiere of the feature film Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War. Both shared their experience making the jump from series format to a feature film, the narrative and production challenges they faced filming in multiple locations, the changes that this story brings to the dramatic arc of Jack and his team (and how it is designed for fans of the series and attract new audiences) and the moral dilemmas that their characters must face, giving them a depth that had not been explored until then.
