Melania Trump (54) will become First Lady again after Donald Trump’s (78) inauguration as US President on January 20, 2025. In an interview with “Fox & Friends” she spoke about the already announced documentary film that is being made about her and will also show her entry into the White House.
Melania Trump said her book was such a success and she received a lot of messages and letters from readers who said they wanted to hear more from her. “So I had the idea of making a film, a film about my life. My life is incredible. There’s a lot going on in it. And I said to my agent, ‘Please do a deal for me.'”
Insight into their everyday life
Production on the film began last November, the 54-year-old continued. “And we’re filming right now. It’s about my daily life, what I do, what kind of responsibilities I have. People don’t really know that, and they’re going to see it.” It’s about her everyday life, about her team for the transition phase between the two presidencies until the move to the White House. Melania Trump continued: “Packing, building my team, the first lady’s office and what it takes to make the property a home, to hire the people you need.”
Moving into the White House will be different this time, said Donald Trump’s wife. “I know the rooms we’re going to live in. I know the process. The first time was a challenge. We didn’t have a lot of information. The information was withheld from us by the previous administration.” But this time she has everything and all the plans for the move have already been made. “I’ve already packed, I’ve already picked out the furniture that belongs here.”
Don’t always agree with Donald Trump
Melania Trump also made it clear that she wants to change the perception of her during her second time as First Lady. “I think I was always myself the first time too. I just feel like people didn’t accept me. Maybe they didn’t understand me for who I was. Maybe they do now.” Some people may only see her as the president’s wife, “but I stand on my own two feet,” emphasized Melania Trump. “I’m independent. I have my own thoughts. I don’t always agree with what my husband says or does, and that’s okay.” She gives her husband advice, “and sometimes he listens. Sometimes he doesn’t, and that’s okay.”
The future first lady also stated that she plans to spend most of her time at the White House in Washington, DC. “If I have to be in New York, I will be in New York,” she explained. If she had to be in Palm Beach, she would be in Palm Beach. Her top priority is “to be a mother, first lady and wife.” She assumes that son Barron Trump (18), who is in college, will come to the White House for visits and can bring his friends with him.
According to Variety, the film about Melania Trump will be shown in cinemas and as a streaming version in 2025.
