Donald Trump made fun of pop superstar Taylor Swift after she had been booed by fans at the Super Bowl in New Orleans. “The only one who had a worse night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift,” Trump wrote in his online service Truth Social late Sunday evening (local time) with reference to the clear defeat of the football team from Kansas City.
Swift, who is in a relationship with Chiefs-Star Travis Kelce and regularly visits his games, had spoken out in the last US presidential campaign for the democratic Trump rival Kamala Harris. When the singer was shown on the huge video screen of the stadium in New Orleans during the Super Bowl, she was loudly booed. One reason for this could have been that significantly more fans of the opposing team, who were Philadelphia Eagles, as Chiefs fans in the stadium.

However, the US President interpreted the boos differently. “Maga is very resentful,” wrote Trump in relation to his followers named after the abbreviation of his slogan “Make America Great Again”. He was sitting in the audience even with the worldwide sporting event-as the first acting US president. He left the stadium after the second quarter. When Trump was seen on the big screens while playing the national anthem before the start of the game, there was applause from the ranks.
It was not the first time that Trump worked on to Swift. After the superstar had made his support for Harris in the election campaign, Trump had written on Truth on Truth: “I hate Taylor Swift.”
