MADRID.- The right side of real Madrid, Dani Carvajalsuffered an injury on Saturday in the right sole during the defeat in the derby against the Atlético de Madrid (5-2), his club said on Sunday, without specifying the duration of his decline.
“After the tests carried out today to our player Dani Carvajal for the Medical Services of Real Madrid, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the right leg soleus. Evolution pending,” the White Club reported.
The soleus is a muscle located in the back of the leg.
According to the local press, the decline could be four weeks, which would leave him out of the Spanish team against Georgia on October 11, in the 2026 World Cup classification phase.
It would also be in danger of its availability for the classic against FC Barcelona, on October 26.
Carvajal had to be replaced on Saturday during the defeat against Atlético at the Metropolitan Stadium.
