The two shook hands in greeting in the foyer of the British Embassy, then Trump briefly patted the prince on the shoulder and praised him as a “good man” who was doing a “fantastic job.” They then exchanged a few quick words. They last met in 2019 when the then US President paid a state visit to Great Britain.
As the BBC reports, the heir to the British throne and the re-elected president discussed a range of global issues in their 40-minute conversation. The royals shared some pictures of William’s stay in Paris on Instagram. It says, among other things: “It was a pleasure to spend time with Emmanuel Macron and Donald Trump.”
