National federations had until October 22 to declare their interest in organizing the eight finals of the different European competitions in 2028 and 2029.

Germany was the only one to apply for the Champions men’s 2028 and Munich, pending officialization, is set to host the European club final for the sixth time in its history, after 1979, 1993 and 1997 at the Olympic stadium and 2012 and this same 2025 at the Allianz Arena.

For 2029, England proposed Wembley – host of the final for the last time in 2024 – and Spain the Camp Nou in Barcelona, ​​which is completing its renovation and will have a record capacity in Europe of 105,000 spectators.

The 2026 and 2027 finals are already attributed to the Puskas Arena in Budapest and the Metropolitano in Madrid, respectively.

The different candidates for the 2028 and 2029 finals now have until June 11, 2026 to send their dossier and the final decision will be made by the UEFA Executive Committee in September next year.

Juve remains in the hands of Spalletti
