Miami Dolphins wide receiver continues playing despite discomfort

The wide receiver of the Miami Dolphins, Tyreek Hillwas active against the Los Angeles Rams for Monday Night Football despite having a torn ligament in his wrist, he told ESPN’s Lisa Salters.

The Dolphins defeated Los Angeles 23-15 and snapped a three-game losing streak. Hill only had three catches for 16 yards, but caught a touchdown in the third quarter to give Miami an 11-point lead.

Hill has been dealing with the injury since training camp and aggravated the ailment when he was detained by police before the Dolphins’ season opener, according to Salters.

The 30-year-old player was classified as a mystery for Monday’s commitment. He did not practice on Friday and Saturday, after being present for Thursday’s session. Hill has only missed one game since 2021.

Miami ranked last in points per game in Week 10 of the NFL.
