Break with Donald Trump: “He has no principles”

Maryanne Trump Barry was an appeals court judge. A few years ago there were investigations into tax fraud in the family and possible related misconduct on their part. Her lawyer denied the allegations, according to CNN, but she ultimately resigned from her position in 2019. Since she had retired, the investigation was automatically closed.

She was one of Donald Trump’s closest confidants throughout her life. However, there was a break when Trump’s niece Mary (58) published recordings in which Maryanne Trump Barry spoke critically about the politician as part of the tell-all book “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man”. Among other things, she described her brother as “cruel” and explained: “He has no principles.”
