Marco Rubio meets with rescued opposition opponents in Caracas in Caracas

Miami – The United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, held an encounter with the five Venezuelan opposition leaders who were recently rescued after remaining asylee in the Argentine Embassy in Caracas, amid the siege, harassment and harassment of the Nicolás Maduro regime.

Rubio referred to the complex operation that made possible the departure of Magalli Meda, Claudia Macero, Pedro Urruchurtu, Humberto Villalobos and Omar González, who remained in precarious conditions within the Argentine diplomatic headquarters: without electricity, with limited access to food, medicines and drinking water.

The diplomatic maneuver, described as a “surgical operation”, also allowed the shelter of Corina Parisca, mother of María Corina Machado. According to Rubio, this action represents a direct blow to the strength narrative that the regime tried to project with the trip of Nicolás Maduro to Russia.
