LeBron James is out of action in the Lakers for left ankle pain

LOS ANGELES.- The superstar of the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron Jameswas ruled out for the game that his team will play this Saturday against the Indiana Pacers due to discomfort in his left ankle, the franchise of the NBA.

James lost his fourth game of the season only three days after having scored 42 points in a victory over Golden State, joining the icon of the Michael Jordan League as the only players to score 40 points in a game to those of 40 years.

With this performance, James became the youngest player and the oldest to score 40 points in a match in the most famous basketball league in the world. He did it for the first time at 19 and 88 days in his rookie season with the Cleveland Cavaliers and repeated him at 40 and 38 days on Thursday.

In his 22nd season, James averages 24.5 points, 9.0 assists and 7.8 rebounds per game.

Looking ahead at home against the Pacers, the Lakers arrive with four consecutive victories and 10 in their last 12 games at a time when they await the debut of their brand new acquisition: Luka Doncic.

The 25 -year -old Slovenian diamond, who took Dallas to the NBA finals in last season, was transferred by the Mavericks days ago in an impressive agreement that led the MAVs to Anthony Davis.

Doncic is expected to arrive at Los Angeles with a stop in the calf, debut with the Lakers on Monday, when they receive the Jazz from Utah.

Giménez premieres as a scorer in series A

The Mexican Santiago Giménez has landed standing in Italian football, with a goal in his first game in the series this Saturday in the 2-0 win of Milan on the Empoli court.

Giménez debuted on Wednesday in the Italian Cup with an assistance to Joao Felix, also signed on Monday at the closing of the market, in the 3-1 victory of Milan over Rome in rooms.
