Yordanis Cobos Martínez, 37, alleged author of the decapitation of an American citizen in Dallas, had previously been expelled from the United States. Cuba refused to receive him for his criminal history, so he was released “supervised” during the administration of President Joe Biden.

“Yordanis cobos-Martínez, a rapist of illegal criminal children, supposedly decapitated his manager in a Dallas motel and desecrated the body. Liberated by the Biden administration on January 13, 2025, after Cuba refused to accept it, ICE has now issued an arrest warrant for this conviction predator,” said the agency through the social network.

American authorities and officials, including President Donald Trump and the Undersecretary of National Security Tricia McLaughlin, held the previous government responsible for the tragic death of the American citizen of Indian origin, Chandra Mouli Nagamallaiah.

“Time to be soft, it ended”

“I am aware of the terrible news about the murder of Chandra Nagamallaiah, a very respected person in Dallas, Texas, who was brutally beheaded, in front of his wife and son, for an illegal immigrant from Cuba who should never have been in our country,” Trump criticized in his social social network.

“This individual was previously arrested for terrible crimes, including child sexual abuse, cars theft and illegal detention, but was released in our country under the mandate of the incompetent Joe Biden because Cuba did not want such an evil person in his country,” the president added.

At the end of his message, the US president said that the “time of being soft” with illegal immigrants authors of crimes had come to an end and praised the work carried out by the Secretary of National Security, Kristi Noem; Attorney General Pam Bondi, the “Tsar of the Border, Tom Homan”, director of ICE, and other officials of his administration.

Along the same lines, the Undersecretary of National Security declared before the press: “This vile monster decapitated this man in front of his wife and son and proceeded to kick the head of the victims against the ground. This brutal murder of a victim in a motel at the hands of Yordanis Cobos-Martínez could have been completely avoided if the Biden administration would not have released this illegal immigrant in our country, since Cuba did not I would accept it. “

The congresswoman for Florida, María Elvira Salazar, expressed her indignation for the murder in her social network X account and attributed it to the “reckless border agenda of Biden, which allowed violent criminals to infiltrate our communities.”

“Ultimado”

The murder of Chandra Mouli Nagamallaiah, ”said September 10, the same day that conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot in a motel where both the victim worked and his alleged aggressor.

Nagamallaiah, 40, was the Motel manager and head of the Cuban. According to witnesses of the facts, the two began to argue for a broken washing machine. The linguistic barrier between them would have worsened the situation.

Cobos-Martínez attacked Nagamallaiah with a machete and would have decapitated him in front of his wife and son. Then, he would have kicked his head as if it were a soccer ball, according to the images of videos of the motel security cameras. He was arrested at the scene and accused of capital murder.

To Cobos-Martínez the judge imposed a bail of one million dollars. The ICE presented an order of immigration arrest against him, which prevents his release regardless of whether the bond was paid.

Mental problems?

From Cuba, the Cobos-Martínez family assured in an interview with the American media Martí News that the alleged murderer has mental problems and regretted that he would not have been accepted in his country when he received the deportation order from the US.

“I wanted to be deported to attend him with doctors here. My son went wrong in prison in the United States, he lost his mind, according to the mother.” He came to sleep in a park like beggar. When he finally found work in that motel I thought he was recovering, but argued with the manager because they did not pay him, “said the mother, Odalis Martínez Rodríguez, who said that Cobos-Martínez had no violent background in Cuba.

The defendant’s grandmother, Mayra Rodríguez, said she felt pain for the victim and her grandson, but admitted that the fact cannot be unpunished.

“This cannot be unpunished, it was a cruel murder, but he needs specialists, he is not right of his head. Hopefully President Trump is condued and sends him to Cuba, even if they throw him many years in jail here,” he claimed.

The sister, Yerlenis Ricardo Martínez, also denied that Cobos-Martínez had a violent history in Cuba.

“I was my only brother. I was always working, I had no time for anything. He wanted to come to Cuba, but they never accepted it,” he lamented.

Criminal records

Cobos Martínez’s judicial records point out a history of violence which extends through Florida, California and Texas.

In 2017, Cobos Martínez was arrested in California for an attempted kidnapping while he was naked and under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.

That same year, in Florida, he was accused of vehicle theft. In 2018 he was prosecuted in Harris Count NBC 5.
