Hope? The Dolphins’ schedule seems to work in their favor the rest of the way

The road has not been easy for Miami Dolphins in the current NFL season, but things could be about to change for the South Florida organization, or at least that is what the rest of the regular round schedule suggests.

With a 2-3 start, to which has also been added the loss of important pieces in the squad, such as that of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who suffered a new concussion, Miami was located in third place in the East the AFC, very far from what was expected for the currency in preseason projections.

However, a look at the rest of the opponents that the team will have in the regular phase of the campaign could be that breath of fresh air that the players and fans need so much.

Of the Dolphins’ next 12 rivals (Colts, Cardinals, Bills, Rams, Raiders, Patriots, Packers, Jets, Texans, 49ers, Browns, Jets), nine currently have a negative balance.

Likewise, another positive point for Miami is that it has five games scheduled at home and among those opponents that would be visiting Hard Rock Stadium, four have a negative record at the moment. Meanwhile, of the seven teams still hoping to host the Dolphins, five are playing below .500.

In theory, the most complex duels for Mike McDaniel’s boys would be visiting Buffalo, Green Bay (on Thanksgiving Night) and Houston.

If the Dolphins manage to finish their next games with a record of 8-4 and close the regular round with 10-7, the outlook looks quite encouraging.

In 2023, the three teams that reached 10 awards made it to the playoffs, as did the two that reached that mark the previous year. In 2021, the four teams with a dozen wins played in the next phase and in 2020 one of two achieved it.
