“We are not rappers,” he added.
Responding to the comments ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, seven-time F1 champion Hamilton said: “I didn’t like the way he expressed himself, what he said. Saying ‘rappers’ is a stereotype.”
“If you think about it, most rappers are black. So it says, ‘We’re not like them.’ I think that was a bad choice of words and there’s a racial element to it,” Hamilton said.
