Former First Lady Melania Trump: She shows herself again after her mother's death

After her mother's death, Melania Trump made a rare appearance alongside husband Donald Trump.

Melania Trump (53) made her first public appearance on Tuesday after her mother's funeral in January. Together with her husband, entrepreneur and politician Donald Trump (77), she went to the polling stations on the day of the primary elections in Florida.

For this rare couple's appearance, the former first lady chose a white shirt dress by Alexander McQueen with a large black orchid decoration. As “Page Six” reports, the item of clothing costs $2,690 (the equivalent of around 2,480 euros). The Slovenian native combined a thin black belt, black sunglasses, black pumps and a Chanel bag, which is said to cost more than 6,000 dollars (around 5,500 euros).

Melania Trump has been missing a lot lately

With this appearance, the ex-presidential couple demonstrated their solidarity after Melania Trump failed to show up at his Super Tuesday victory party at their shared home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, earlier this month. As a result, speculation about marital problems flared up again.

Melania Trump was also missing from the Christmas card that Donald Trump Jr.'s fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, 55, sent to the family in December. At that time, however, it was already said that she was taking care of her seriously ill mother Amalija Knavs.

Funeral took place in mid-January

Former and possibly future First Lady Melania Trump had to bury her mother on January 18th in Palm Beach, Florida. While Barron Trump (18) as well as Ivanka Trump (42) and Tiffany Trump (30) and their respective husbands Jared Kushner (43) and Michael Boulos (26) took part in the sad event, 77-year-old Donald Trump celebrated the outcome of the Republican election Area codes.

On January 10th, Melania announced via X that her mother had died at the age of 78. An exact cause of death is not known. However, Knavs was recently “very sick,” as Donald Trump explained during a New Year's Eve celebration at his Mar-a-Lago estate in the US state of Florida.
