Mr. Bolton, in 2016 it took Donald Trump weeks to nominate candidates for ministerial posts. After his re-election, he has now announced a dozen personal details within a few days. Is he just better prepared this time?
I do not believe that. There is no indication that he spent much time during the campaign worrying about the nominations. There is a difference between acting quickly and carefully considering. Trump makes his decisions spontaneously. This is not necessarily indicative of a deep thought process.
