Family shooting in Miami-Dade leaves one dead and two injured, including the aggressor

Miami – A shooting It happened this Thursday at a car dealership in the southwest of Miami-Dade left one dead and two injured, including the suspect of producing the shots, said the Sheriff of County, Rosie Cordero-Stutz, at a press conference offered hours after the incident.

The incident was recorded, this Thursday, April 24, shortly before 1:30 pm, at the concessionaire PRICED RIGHT MOTORSlocated in 7321 on 45th Street in the Southwest, in the vicinity of Tropical Park. According to the authorities, the shooting took place after a confrontation between members of the same family motivated by private issues. The attacker, identified as the half -brother of the deadly victim, opened fire during the altercation.

“The first injured, identified as the suspect’s half-brother, unfortunately died. The second victim is in stable condition, and the aggressor is in critical condition,” said Cordero-Stutz.

The Sheriff explained that, upon reaching the place, the agents faced the attacker, which resulted in an exchange of shooting. “Because it is a shooting that involved agents of the order, the case is being investigated by the Florida law compliance department (Fdle).”

Domestic fight

“This is an unfortunate domestic situation, it is not an act of random violence. We appreciate that there have been no more victims and that our officers have not been injured,” added the official.

In response to the event, SWAT units and the Florida road patrol cordoned off the area and evacuated employees and close business clients, including the Hitting Batery Center .365, the Lawnmowers R Us and the All Purpose Training Gymnasium. Witnesses reported to have seen people going out with their hands up and reported blood scenes on the ground.

Traffic in the area was temporarily interrupted, although no victims outside the family dispute were reported. The authorities continue to investigate the background of the conflict.
