A military helicopter collides in Washington with a passenger plane – 67 people die. Now the US Air Travel Authority is taking the first consequences.

After the aircraft accident, the US Air Force Authority, according to the aircraft accident, is reportedly considering helicopter traffic around the capital airport in Washington. The US broadcaster CNN reported, among other things, to an official of the authority on certain helicopter routes.

According to reports, the helicopter had also flown higher than allowed. The upper limit is 200 feet on these routes (around 60 meters). US President Donald Trump wrote on his online language tube Truth Social: “The Black-Hawk helicopter flew too high, and a lot. It was far above the 200-foot border. That is not too complicated , or???”

Reports about incident the day before

At Ronald-Reagan-Airport (DCA )’s capital airport, a passenger machine collided with a military helicopter on Wednesday evening (local time). Both plunged into the water. There were 60 passengers and 4 crew members on board the aircraft, and there were 3 crew members on board the helicopter. According to the authorities, all 67 people died in the accident.

US media also reported that another passenger machine had to cancel their landing just one day before the fatal collision because a helicopter had flown near their flight route. This emerges from the air traffic control recordings, it said.
