After the severe earthquakes in Venezuela, the USA announced the immediate dispatch of rescue workers. “America stands with the Venezuelan people in this difficult time,” said Foreign Minister Marco Rubio on Thursday on the online service X.

At the direction of President Donald Trump, search and rescue teams, medical resources and humanitarian assistance would be immediately sent to the South American country.
Trump: “Ready, willing and able” to help Venezuela
Trump had previously told Venezuela on his online service Truth Social that the US was “ready, willing and able” to help Venezuela.
Venezuela was shaken by two severe earthquakes within a minute on Wednesday evening (local time). According to government figures, at least 164 people were killed and more than 700 others were injured. Buildings collapsed or were damaged. Rescue workers searched the rubble for other victims and survivors.
