When Donald Trump appeared in Pennsylvania at the weekend, everything initially seemed to be going according to plan. At the campaign event, Trump took on his opponent’s new economic plan. He accused Kamala Harris of causing “catastrophic inflation.” He warned that she would introduce “socialist price controls.” And he accused her of banning fracking – a sensitive issue in the swing state that will decide the election.
Then comes the sentence that makes quite a few Republicans cringe.
