Biden will speak with border guards, members of other security agencies and local representatives in Brownsville, Texas, the White House announced. Trump wants to visit the border town of Eagle Pass in Texas.
Migration policy is likely to become one of the most important issues in the presidential election in November. During Biden’s presidency, the number of migrants entering the United States illegally from Mexico has reached record highs. Trump and the Republicans blame Biden for this. The president, in turn, accuses the Republicans of using their majority in the House of Representatives to prevent a bipartisan solution to migration policy.
