Disney: Delayed US late night show by Jimmy Kimmel returns Tuesday

The temporary late night show by the well-known US moderator Jimmy Kimmel will be on the air again on Tuesday. This was announced by the Disney group on Monday, whose daughter ABC Kimmel’s show so far broadcast. The moderator had accused President Donald Trump’s US government to politically use the murder of activist Charlie Kirk. After a threat of the Trump-related media supervisory authority with a license withdrawal for ABC, the broadcaster then announced the end of Kimmel’s show four days ago.

Now Disney said that in the past few days the entertainment group had had incoming discussions with Kimmel. “After these conversations, we made the decision to continue the show on Tuesday.” The temporary suspension served to “not heat a tense situation in an emotional moment for (the USA)”. Trump had welcomed the demonstration of the show because Kimmel had repeatedly criticized him.
