Legal lawsuit

He conflict Legal dates back to December 2024, after the announcement of divorce between Daddy Yankee and Mireddys González, after almost three decades of marriage. Since then, the process has expanded to several judicial fronts in San Juan, Carolina and the federal jurisdiction.

In dispute are the dissolution of the marriage, the control of the corporations the Records, Inc. and the Cangris, Inc., as well as allegations of breach of previous agreements and alleged millionaire transfers. The designation of a judicial administrator has also been requested to supervise corporate operations linked to the artist.

So far, the specific reasons that brought to lawyers Torres Colberg and Colberg Birriel have not been announced to present their resignation. The departure of both generates questions about the next steps in the legal strategy of Daddy Yankee and the impact that this change could have on a process that continues to monopolize media and judicial attention in Puerto Rico.
