Cuban Arozarena helps Rays win over Yankees

For the Rays, Panamanian Caballero went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and one run scored. Dominican Siri went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and one run scored. Cuban-Mexican Arozarena went 1-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored.

For the Yankees, Dominican Juan Soto was 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored. Venezuelan Oswaldo Cabrera was 2-for-4 with one run scored.

Rangers beat Orioles:

Jonah Heim hit a three-run homer, Andrew Heaney pitched five scoreless innings of two-hit ball and the Texas Rangers beat the Baltimore Orioles 3-2 on Sunday to avoid a three-game sweep in a rematch of last year’s postseason.

Anthony Santander got the Orioles close with his 27th homer of the season and third in the series, a two-run drive in the eighth inning before Texas held on to finish 2-5 against the Orioles. The Rangers swept Baltimore in last year’s American League Division Series on their way to their first World Series title.

The Orioles won three of four at home in late June, with Texas salvaging the last of the series as well.
